From Chinese to Mexican on Hogan Boulevard

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – The owners of the Rey Azteca Mexican restaurant near State College took to social media Wednesday to announce the opening of a new Rey Azteca along Hogan Boulevard in Bald Eagle Township.

A crew began work this week to gut and renovate what was the recently closed Mongolian Restaurant at 101 Hogan Boulevard. A spokesman for the owner said it is hoped to have the new restaurant in operation by August or September.

The new eatery is expected to be similar to the Rey Azteca located at 485 Benner Pike east of State College. The restaurant’s Facebook page says its menu offers “a variety of traditional fare, replete with robust flavors evocative of the Mexican spirit.”
