Our Town: Lock Haven Airs Thursday

LOCK HAVEN – The City of Lock Haven will be showcased this Thursday as WPSU Penn State Public Television airs it’s 96th production of their Our Town series at 8 p.m. More than 30 community volunteers came together over the past couple of months to tell stories and capture images of Clinton County’s county seat in preparation for the program. The nearly one-and-a-half-hour Our Town: Lock Haven program highlights local people, history, and events, the City’s cultural, recreational and outdoor assets, and the community overall.

Two of the city’s businesses who participated in the program are hosting ‘viewing parties’ Thursday evening. Broken Axe Brew House at 1 East Bald Eagle Street, and Stella A’s Bar & Grill at 219 East Main Street, Lock Haven, invite those interested in watching the show to their establishments. The Our Town program can also be watched online at wpsu.org/live.

Many of the volunteers who helped with the Our Town: Lock Haven program gathered last week at The Station Gallery for a sneak preview of the program.
