Lock Haven Police Keep an Eye on Schools

LOCK HAVEN – The city police department posted on social media Monday its officers will continue to patrol the several schools in Lock Haven which serve school-aged children. These include Keystone Central School District’s two elementary schools and the Lock Haven Catholic School. The posting follows the horrendous shooting rampage earlier this month in Florida.

The police post reads:

Officers have been, and will continue to make, frequent but random patrols throughout the locations of area schools to be more visible at these locations and to let our children and teachers know we are with them! There is no need for concern when you see our officers, just know we are trying our best to keep everyone safe.

Keystone Central operates two elementary schools in Lock Haven, Robb School in the city’s first ward and Dickey School in the fourth ward. Lock Haven Catholic is on W. Water St. in the city’s third ward.
