West Announces Addition of Nearly 100 New Jobs to its Manufacturing Site in Williamsport, PA
WILLIAMSPORT– West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (NYSE: WST), a global leader in innovative solutions for injectable drug administration, announced it will hire nearly 100 new roles to support increased drug delivery needs of chronic disease treatments such as diabetes and obesity as part of a recent contract manufacturing capacity expansion at its site in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Hiring has started and will continue through Q1, 2026.
West currently employs over 580 people across two locations in the Lycoming County area, with another manufacturing location in Jersey Shore. “West is proud of its team members and the role we play in contributing to patient health around the world,” said Dave Lanzer, Williamsport Site Director. “We have been an integral part of Williamsport for over 40 years and look forward to our continued growth and support of this community.”
West’s Williamsport site has 24-7 operations and plays a critical role in global healthcare with injection and blow molding, assembly, and commercial manufacturing operations that provide solutions for more patient-centric drug-delivery needs. West’s recent capacity expansion at this site will add full time career opportunities, including production operators, supervisors, engineers, maintenance technicians, tooling specialists, and a variety of office positions.
