Walmart Donates Bicycles to Support Active Transportation at Robb Elementary Showcase

LOCK HAVEN – Robb Elementary School’s Showcase Night on May 13 was made even more memorable thanks to a generous donation from the Lock Haven Walmart. As part of the event, Walmart donated two bicycles to support the school’s efforts to promote active transportation and recreation in the community.

During the event, students who visited the Active Transportation Planning table had the opportunity to share their ideas and feedback about what they would like to see in Lock Haven to enhance biking, walking, and recreational opportunities. Each participating student was entered into a drawing to win a bicycle.

The lucky winners of the bike giveaway were Benit Evans and Stella Porter.

This community partnership highlights the importance of encouraging healthy lifestyles and supporting youth engagement in city planning efforts.
