Carol J. Walker – Obituary

Carol J. Walker, 48, of 222 Danis St., Mill Hall, passed away at The Gatehouse of Divine Providence on Monday, May 5, 2014.

Born in Lock Haven on February 24, 1966, she was the daughter of the late William S. and D. Faye Peters Walker.

Carol was a graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School.

She was employed by General Cable in Williamsport for 20 years.

Carol was a member of the Lock Haven Sons of Italy, Moose, and 40 & 8.

She was an avid Penn State athletics fan as well as Buffalo Bills fan.

Surviving is a sister, Gloria (Clark) Eckman of North Carolina; two brothers: Robert Walker and Bruce (Bernie) Walker, both of Mill Hall; a niece, Kelly Jo Gummo; and three nephews: Bruce Walker, Jr. and Kurt and Eric Eckman.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, with the Rev. S. Craig Ott officiating.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Burial will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall.
