Wildcats 2-1 in Last Round of Golf
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – Central Mountain hosed St. Joseph Academy, Wellsboro and Cowanesque Valley at the Clinton Country Club for their last home round of high school golf.
The Wolves of St. Joe’s swept the filed turning a score card of 336 strokes just ahead of Central Mountain at 341 with Wellsboro at 356 and CV was just behind at 358.
Once again, it was the senior leaders that led the way for Central Mountain with Matt Storeman setting the pace at 81 and Tyler Adair turning in 88 strokes. Rounding out the field for the Wildcats was Jason Floruss, 84; Logan Fisher, 88; Brady Williams, 94 and Chase Confer, 95.
With the two wins and one loss today, the PHAC champion Wildcats move to 30-5 on the season.
Central Mountain will now prepare for the post season when they travel to Sinking Valley Counry Club on Altoona on Monday, Oct. 2, 2017 for sectional play.
