Widening work on Farrandsville Road set for May 5 to 9
LOCK HAVEN – Work to widen the Farrandsville Road (Route 1001) on the Woodward Township side of the Susquehanna River across from Lock Haven is scheduled to occur May 5 through 9. The 3.5 mile work zone will stretch from the Veterans Bridge to Queens Run Road and area drivers should expect significant travel delays. Daylight work hours will run from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. PennDOT said once work is complete, area drivers will enjoy a smoother, wider road surface through this area.
Drivers will encounter an alternating traffic pattern, controlled by flaggers in the roadway. Motorists need to remain alert for roadway workers and trucks moving in and out of the work zone and proceed through the zone with caution.
Crews from Clinton County PennDOT Maintenance will perform this work, which is weather dependent.
