Central Mountain Battles West Branch Falling 3-1
MORRISDALE – The Lady Wildcat volley ball team made a road trip to face West Branch coming up short in a 4-1 loss to the Lady Warriors.
Central Mountain kept the games interesting falling in the first game 25-19, and 25-23 win in the second game.
Then the Lady Wildcats bounced back in the third game to edge West Branch 25-22 in the third game and then the Lady Warriors picked up their third win in game 4, 25-16.
Jenni Skow and Rachel Kibler had 8 kills on the night with Maddie Bashore producing 27 assists while Pam Gunsallas had 3 aces.
S Bowmaster led the Lady ‘Cats with 3 blocks and Maegan Miller recorded 12 digs on defense.
I always enjoy playing WB. They are a good team and the game is exciting. We played well tonight. We need to focus on minimizing our errors and sharpening our offense.
