Wildcats Handle SVRC 3-0
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – Central Mountain (2-0) hosted Sugar Valley Rural Charter School (0-4) for their firs home regular season game of the 2017 season.
The Lady Wildcats handled SVRC in short order, 3-0 for a decisive win. CM defeated the Phoenix 25-15, 25-9 and 25-4.
Though CM’s skill and depth made the game look one-sided, Sugar Vally did fight valiantly taking advantage go mistakes when they were offered by the Lady ‘Cats.
Offensively, Jenni Skow led Central Mountain with 8 aces while Maegan Miller had 6 and Jada Dauberman recorded 5 aces. Skow hat 6 kills with Dauberman adding 5 more. Maddie Bashore had 14 assists on the night. Leading the Lady Wildcat defense, Miller accumulated 16 digs.
Next up for Central Mountain is a road trip to West Branch on Monday, Sept. 11, 2017.
