Work on Route 880 in Clinton County Starts Wednesday

LOCK HAVEN – Roadway improvement work will get underway Wednesday on Route 880 in Clinton County. The work zone will stretch from west of Booneville to east of Loganton. Activity will include roadway milling, base repair, resurfacing, line painting and miscellaneous items.

This work will extend the useful life of the roadway and result in a smoother, safer roadway surface and a smoother ride for motorists. The work on Route 880 is expected to finish by June.

A daylight, alternating traffic pattern will be enforced by flaggers. Drivers should expect short travel delays. PennDOT reminds drivers to use caution and stay alert for roadway flaggers.

All work is weather dependent. Glenn O. Hawbaker Inc. is the contractor on this work, part of an overall $8.5 million project, which has addressed numerous roadways in Centre and Clinton counties over the past three years.
