LHU Baseball Team Falls to Seton Hill at PSAC Tourney
JOHNSTOWN — Seton Hill (35-18) used four first-inning runs off Lock Haven University’s Jacob Belina and held off the Bald Eagles at the PSAC tournament at Point Stadium in Johnstown Friday. The loss left LHU at 32-14 and put coach Jim Chester’s team in a Friday night elimination game against West Chester (35-11).Seton Hill had defeated West Chester by a 6-5 score in an opening round game on Wednesday. LHU and West Chester recently split four regular season games 2-2.
Belinda (6-2) was touched up for seven runs in six innings of work. Lock Haven totaled 10 hits, led by Matt Lahn (Georgetown, ONT./Erie Community College) with three, including a 3-run homerun. Junior shortstop Cayden Stover (Beech Creek, Central Mountain) had two singles.
