Meet the Winter Wildcats event held at Central Mountain

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – The upcoming winter sports season got a jumpstart Friday night at the annual Central Mountain ‘Meet the Winter Wildcats Night’ community pep rally.

There was a large turnout of students, teachers and community members in the Wildcat gymnasium. Groups of student-athletes from different sports were pitted against one-another in friendly competition but a faculty team from the Central Mountain Middle School came away the winner.

All of those in attendance were recognized for their support of the Wildcat clubs and organizations and all departed through a “victory line” made up of the hundreds of Central Mountain high school students participating in the event.

The official start of the winter sports season is next Friday, Dec. 9.
