LOCK HAVEN – State Rep. Mike Hanna and Gov. Tom Wolf will hold a rally highlighting the importance of Pennsylvania’s state universities and encouraging students to register to vote this Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the amphitheater on the campus of Lock Haven University. The rally will feature speakers, including Rep. Hanna and Gov. Wolf, as well as opportunities for any students or persons in attendance to register to vote. Tuesday, Oct. 11 is the last date to register in Pennsylvania.

Rep. Hanna said he looks forward to highlighting the importance of Lock Haven University to his district, often referring to it as the “best employer in Clinton County.” A LHU alumnus, Hanna believes it’s his “job to make sure that our students have access to the best education and opportunities right here in central Pennsylvania.”

Hanna campaign staffer, Will Hughes, said he hopes this event will help encourage more students to register and vote this fall. “Millennials are the largest living generation in the US but are far from the largest voting bloc. In order to address the challenges we face, we need to get registered and vote.”
