Bruce Edward Andrus, 64, of Lock Haven, went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, February 19, 2014.

Bruce was born on June 8, 1949 in Lock Haven, the son of the late Dahrl L. and Ruth N. Clark Andrus.

He attended Lock Haven High School and then at the age of 18 he enlisted in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany.

In his younger years he worked for Coys Farm where he met the love of his life, Penny.

He played for Champion Blue Clinton County Independent Softball League with his two brothers, Daryl and Glen.

He was employed by Champion Auto Parts until its closing in 2002. He then worked at Drive Plus and Rafco until his retirement in 2013.

He was an avid Buffalo Bills and New York Mets Fan. He enjoyed playing cards, shooting darts and playing trivia games at various clubs.

Surviving are two daughters, Kathy Jo (Donald) Hamm and Dawn Linn Lebert, both of Williamsport; Four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Glen (Tammy) of Lamar and David of Fort Lauderdale, FL; a sister, Joyce (Lanny) Allen of McElhattan; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Daryl W. Andrus, Sr. in 2002.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Lock Haven Moose Lodge, 150 S. Hanna St., Lock Haven, Pa 17745, with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington to assist with funeral expenses.
