Julia Ethel Bennett was born January 21, 1928 in Clearfield, PA to Harry and Lena Trivelpiece. Julia returned to Christ our Lord on February 22, 2014. Her brother, Jack Trivelpiece, and two sisters, Althea Cole and Dolores Rinehart, preceded Julia in death.

Julia was devoted to her husband and her family. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and making dolls, which she shared with her family and friends. During her working career, Julia was employed by Sylvania Electric, Bobbi Brooks and Woolrich, Inc., where she retired from in 1990. Julia was an active member of the Living Faith Free Methodist Ministry for approximately 70 years.

Julia was married 66 years to Eugene Bennett, Jr., who survives, of Mill Hall. Julia and Eugene “Benny” had three children, Sandra (William) Bubb of Albuquerque, NM, Eugene (Robin) Bennett of Mill Hall, and Terry (Judi) Bennett also of Mill Hall (Rote). Julia, affectionately known as “Mimi”, also had four grandchildren, Eugene A. Bennett, Jr, Jonathan C. Bennett, Terry “TJ” W. Bennett, Jr. and Ryan M. Bennett. In addition, Julia had three great grandchildren, Sarah, Benjamin and Lily Bennett. A sister, Lucille Miller, along with several nephews and nieces, also survives her.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Living Faith Free Methodist Church, 7175 Nittany Valley Dr., Mill Hall, Pa 17751. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.

Julia’s viewing will be held at the church on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
