Marty Shearer – Obituary
Marty was born June 28, 1970 in Renovo, PA to the late Ann (Mackey) and Elwood Shearer. He graduated from Bucktail High School in 1990. On August 14, 1999 he married Missy (Herritt) Shearer. For the past 13 years Marty was employed as a Assistant Manager at Wal Mart. He enjoyed working at Wal Mart and was an amazing Manager. Marty was one of the biggest Steelers fans that ever lived, on Sunday during football season you could hear him cheering (yelling) at his beloved Steelers from anywhere in the house. He also enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Marty is survived by his two daughters, Brittany Herritt, her fiancé Peter Goggins and Bridget Shearer all of New Port Richey, FL, a son, Dempsey Shearer of Fort Carson, CO, his wife Missy of New Port Richey, FL, three grandchildren, Talon, Paisley, and Penelope, one grandchild that has not made their arrival yet. He is also survived by 2 brothers Keith Shearer and John (Cathy) Shearer, and a sister Kathy Shearer all of Renovo, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elwood and Ann (Mackey) Shearer.
A celebration of life service will be held at the end of September when his wife and daughters will bring him back home to Renovo, the place he loved the most. Details will be posted on Facebook soon.
