Lady ‘Cats Tennis drops Selinsgrove 4-1
SELINSGROVE – It was another big win for the Central Mountain (2-0) girls’ tennis program as they picked up a 4-1 win over Selinsgrove (1-1) against a quality Heartland Conference opponent.
“All of the singles players did a fine job,” said head coach Pete Wert of the Lady Wildcats efforts, “Especially Katherine Strouse who overcame a slow start to soundly defeat Daisey Ettinger,” Wert added.
“Both doubles teams continued their fine play by beating a couple of very good opponents,” Wert shared.
Central Mountain will next see action at home on Monday, Aug. 29 against Mifflinburg.
