Betty J. Cummings – Obituary

RENOVO – Betty J. Cummings, 81, 350 Huron Ave., Renovo, PA, died February 12, 2014 at the Williamsport Hospital. She was born February 7, 1933 in Renovo, PA, a daughter of the late Edward and Myrtle Johnson Pelton.

Betty was a homemaker.

She is survived by a daughter: Rose Embick, Loganton, PA and two sons: David & Carl Cummings. Also surviving are three sisters: Ada Probst, a resident at the Bucktail Medical Center, S. Renovo, PA; Alice Sweat and Mary B. Morton, both of Renovo, PA, as well as a brother: Richard Pelton, Lock Haven, PA. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Harold and Edward Pelton, and a sister, Ellen Brennan.

Funeral services were held Sat., February 15, 2014 at 11a.m. in the Dean K. Wetzler, Jr. Funeral Home, 320 Main St., Mill Hall, PA with Martha Sykes officiating. Visitation was held 1 hr. prior to services in the funeral home. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Renovo, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bucktail Medical Center through the funeral home.
