MILL HALL – The annual Living History Day event took place at Central Mountain Middle School on Thursday, May 26.

The 8th grade students who took the living history elective research class created trifolds on Civil War topics of their choice.

Then they presented their trifolds to the 6th grade history classes from the middle school. There were 90 eighth graders involved as presenters and around 250 sixth grade audience members. There were a variety of Civil War topics covered at the event including uniforms, battles, spies, and nurses. In the pictures, 8th graders Hailey Swortwood and Hope Weber present Civil War Women and Nova Simcox and Sadie Miller present Elizabeth Van Lew.
