Legion Members Attend National Commander Banquet

MIDDLETOWN – American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary Members attended  the  Department of Pennsylvania’s Central Section’s National American Legion Commander banquet honoring  2015-2016 National Commander, Dale Barnett(Georgia))  and State Commander E. Michael Stelacio (Philadelphia, PA) at the  Middletown  American  Legion Post #594, on March 22, 2016. Mr. Barnett was elected National Commander of the 2.2 million members of the American Legion on September 3, 2015 in Baltimore, MD, during the 97th National Convention of America’s largest Veterans’ organization. While on his National Commander’s tour of Pennsylvania, he visited with Veterans in the Pennsylvania American Legion “Homes for Homeless Veterans”, Veterans homes, VA hospitals, Fort Indiantown Gap, PA Army National Guards, and spoke with many Veterans and American Legion Family members throughout the state of Pennsylvania.  He thanked them for their dedication to the American Legion programs  and “Duty, Honor and Country”
