Swanger was a huge factor in the Phoenix nearly earning their first ever playoff spot and racking up a program-best seven wins. His .526 batting average, 30 hits and 8 doubles led the team.

“Brody had one of the best freshman years at Sugar Valley.” commented first-year Sugar Valley head coach Mike Toner “We are looking forward to Brody coming back and being a leader for us next year.”

Montgomery’s Parker Bennett was named MVP, while his head coach Tim Persing was named coach of the year.

Montgomery, Muncy, St. John Neumann, Sugar Valley and Bucktail make up the western half of the conference. Bucktail did not get a chance to nominate players due to confusion on the meeting start time.
