First Annual Memorial Weekend Concert to Be Held at Veterans Park

LOCK HAVEN – The first annual Memorial Weekend concert at Veterans Park will take place on Sunday May 25. The concert is free to the public and brought to you by the Clinton County Arts Council and the VFW Post 1630. The concert sponsor is W.R. Hickey Beer Distributor.

Water Street will close from Jay Street to Grove Street at 3 p.m. The event will be catered by the Old Corner Grill & Bottle Shop. A special chicken BBQ will be offered along with a wide selection of drinks and adult beverages. The festival perimeter has been designated as an open container area but no coolers will be allowed into the perimeter. All adult beverages must be purchased onsite. Please be aware that security may ask to search bags to keep the concert a family friendly environment. 

The concert will feature music by two outstanding bands. Local rockers ‘RIZE’  kick things off at 5 pm with 

Pendulum – A Tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival starting around 7:30. 

RIZE is a well known in Central PA band that will feature favorites from the Stadium Rock era including Journey, Boston, Styx, Kansas plus many others. 

Pendulum is comprised of seasoned musicians with many years of entertainment experience.  From the precise lead vocals and melodic harmonies to the hard-driving guitars and drums, Pendulum is the ultimate tribute to one of the greatest bands of the sixties.  The concert is free to the public but we ask you to consider donating to the VFW – Veterans Park as a way to secure additional funds for several park features that still need completed. 

During the evening, special programming will honor Clinton County Veterans. Bring a chair, come early, and stay late.
