FARWELL – The Bucktail High School Student Council has once again decided to recognize our outstanding students with the Student Spotlight of the month. Each month, teachers are asked to nominate a boy and girl who best represent the academic qualities and values of a Bucktail Buck. Below are the eighth grade winners for March, along with some comments from their teachers on what makes them outstanding students.

Hailee Pollock: Hailee’s favorite subject in school is Math, and her favorite teacher is Mr. Killinger. Her favorite thing about school is seeing all her friends. After high school, Hailee wants to become a marine biologist. In her free time, Hailee enjoys playing softball and hanging out with her friends. Occasionally, she likes to indulge in her favorite food, spaghetti! Mrs. Sockman says, “Hailee works hard, is friendly, volunteers, and is a pleasure to have in class.”
