Kettle Creek Valley Outdoor Show

CROSS FORK – Break free from cabin fever this spring and get out to the Kettle Creek Valley Outdoor Show on Saturday, April 2 at the fire hall in Cross Fork.   Over 30 vendors and organizations will be available from 9am- 3pm.   The entrance fee for the show is $3.00.  Kids 12 and under are free.     Breakfast sandwiches and lunch items will be sold.   There will be a bucket raffle of items donated by vendors and local businesses.  All proceeds from the show benefit the Kettle Creek Hose Company and the Kettle Creek Ambulance Association.

Practice your calling skills by competing in the nationally sanctioned turkey calling contest, or just stop in to observe the techniques used by experienced and amateur callers. Registration for the contest begins at 9:00 am with the calling beginning at 11:00am.   Categories include open, amateur, friction, youth and gobbling.  Cost is $25 per entry, which includes entrance to the show.  Youths entries are free.  All youth who participate in the calling contest are also registered to win a youth shot gun.  For more information on the calling contest, call Carla Flack @ 570-923-2386.

Calling all photographers!  A photography contest/exhibition featuring two entry categories will focus on the beauty of the Kettle Creek area.  The first category are photos that feature Kettle Creek, the stream itself, in the photos.  The second category will be all other nature or outdoor activity related photos featuring the Potter and Clinton County area.  Contact Jo Hoy at 570-923-1043 for entry information.

Don’t miss out!  Vendor spots are still available.  Call Mary Hirst at 814-435-2218 for information on getting a table for your business or group, or for general information on the show.
