Hunter StidfoleFARWELL – The Bucktail High School Student Council has once again decided to recognize our outstanding students with the Student Spotlight of the month. Each month, teachers are asked to nominate a boy and girl who best represent the academic qualities and values of a Bucktail Buck. Below are the ninth grade winners for February, along with some comments from their teacher on what makes them outstanding students.
Hunter Stidfole: Hunter’s favorite subject in school is History, and her favorite teacher is Mr. Ransom. Her favorite thing about school is talking to all her friends. After high school, Hunter wants to become a lawyer. In her free time, Hunter enjoys playing basketball or indulging in her favorite food, pizza! Mrs. Sockman says, “Hunter is a hard-worker, polite, and friendly. I enjoy having her in class. She gets her work done, but is fun to talk to and joke with.”
Elliot ProbstElliot Probst: Elliot’s favorite subject in school is español and his favorite teacher is Mr. Piper. His favorite thing about school is getting new perspectives. Elliot’s future plans include becoming a veterinary surgeon. In his free time, Elliot enjoys watching movies and eating McDonalds when he gets a chance. Mr. Bair says, “Elliot is always prepared and on time. He is respectful, eager to learn, and gives maximum participation.”
