Tonight’s Bucktail at Neumann Game on therecord-online (Live Audio Stream)
WILLIAMSPORT — The Bucktail Bucks go on the road tonight in their first District 4 appearance in four years, traveling to St. John Neumann High School in Williamsport. Therecord-online will provide a live broadcast of the 7 p.m. game, coverage underwritten in part by Dominion Transmission.
The Bucks, an eight seed, will battle undefeated and top-seeded (21-0) St. John Neumann. Bucktail qualified for the playoffs with its 56-33 Friday night win over Columbia-Montour Vo-Tech. The victory put the Bucks at 11-11 on the year.
Bucktail has played the Golden Knights twice this season, losing on the road 88-58 on Jan. 8 and at Farwell on Feb. 3 by a score of 90-58; the Bucks have been playing their best ball since that time.
In the other brackets No. 2 seed Sullivan County will host No. 7 seed North East Bradford, No. 3 seed, Cowenesque Valley will host No. 6 seed North Penn Mansfield, No. 4 seed, Millville will host No. 7 seed, Lourdes Regional.
The winner of the Bucktail vs St. John Neumann game would meet the winner of the Millville vs Lourdes Regional winner in the next round at a site and date to be determined.
