LHU Football Announces Mammoth 2016 Recruiting Class

CM’s Bryce Bitner on List at Linebacker

lhu-footballLOCK HAVEN – The Lock Haven University football team today announced its 2016 recruiting class.

LHU head coach Dave Taynor and his staff announced that 40 players will be joining the Bald Eagles in August 2016.

All players have been accepted to Lock Haven University, have signed a National Letter of Intent, or have signed an institutional letter of commitment to play football at LHU.

The announcement includes Central Mountain football player Bryce Bitner, listed as a linebacker by LHU with a size of 5-11, 220 pounds. Bitner was a four-year letterman at a variety of positions for the Wildcats.

Also on the Bald Eagle recruiting list is a standout quarterback from a Central Mountain foe: Drew Hunter of Tyrone High School. Hunter, 6-3, 180 pounds, passed for 2,089 yards on 105 completions in 191 attempts; he threw 23 touchdown passes and 6 interceptions.
