Patrick Duggan Transferring to The Haven
LOCK HAVEN – Lock Haven University head wrestling coach Scott Moore has announced that Patrick Duggan has been accepted to LHU and plans to compete next year for the Bald Eagles.
Duggan, a Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania native and 2015 Cumberland Valley High School four-time Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) placewinner.
Competing for Cumberland Valley High School, Duggan, finished his career with a remarkable 160-11 record. He as a two-time PIAA state finalist and ranked as high as fifth in the nation at 145 pounds during his scholastic career. During his senior season (2014-15), Duggan was ranked as the No. 36 overall recruit by InterMat.
A former PAWF Freestyle State champion and Junior National freestyle runner-up, Duggan has been at the top of the sport at every level thus far. He spent the past semester at West Virginia before deciding to transfer to LHU and wrestle for the Bald Eagles. Lock Haven boasts several wrestlers from Pennsylvania’s District 3, including returning NCAA All-American Dan Neff and 2015 NCAA Qualifier Ronnie Perry.
Duggan will have four years of eligibility remaining at Lock Haven.

He knows the discipline it takes to succeed at this level and is excited to get started on that journey. Having someone of Patrick’s background and ability in our room will help our program continue to build for the future.”
