Bucks Down Northern Potter 57-42
ULYSSES – Bucktail boys’ basketball took a road trip up to the Northern Tier and cam home with w well-rounded 57-42 win over Northern Potter.
The Bucks jumped out to a 16-7 lead in the first quarter, then Northern Potter settled in and closed the margin to only trail 29-18 at the half.
With a comfortable lead, Bucktail kept their momentum going scoring 14 points in each of the final two periods to NP’s 24 point second half effort to earn the win.
Josh Knauff led the scoring for the Bucks with 20 points on the day followed by Tristan Shelb and Ryan Prebble, each with 9 points while Derrick Long scored 7.
