Wildcats Fall to Millionaires 78-58
WILLIAMSPORT – Central Mountain traveled to Billtown to face the Millionaires in the Magic Dome. Williamsport, a perennial regional powerhouse on the hardwoods look to be continuing their prowess by downing the Wildcats 78-58.
CM managed some solid play early in the contest leading the Millionaires 20-14 at the close of the first quarter. The Wildcats continued that momentum and kept stride with Williamsport in the second period to earn a slim 30-35 lead heading into the break.
Unfortunately for the Wildcats, Williamsport managed to rally the troops and raise the bar a bit in the second half to outscore the guests in the second half, 48-23 to earn the 20-point victory.
Leading the way for the Wildcats was Kyle Everhart with 17 points, 15 from downtown. Alex Garbrick had 15 including 12 from outside the arc.
Wyatt Bumbarger scored 8, Brody Baker 7, Landon Breon 6, while Nick Carpenetti, Justin Neff and Cole Reeder each contributed 2 points.
Next up for the Wildcats is a road trip to Milton on Dec. 16, 2015.
