Words of Grace – Nov. 5, 2015

WordsOfGraceJesus asked the question to his listeners concerning his return to earth: “shall he find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8)

The notes in a popular study Bible suggests that when Jesus returns, faith will be rare, just as it was in Noah’s day. “And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man” (17:26).

Belief in God has become unpopular today. In Bible times, if someone said, “There is no God,” he was called a “fool”. In our day, when someone says, “There is a God,” he is called a fool.”

It is said that educated people believe in evolution. If we say we believe in creation, and in the Creator, we are called fools. If we believe that the human race began with Adam and Eve, we are made fun of.

Jesus once asked a group of religious people, “Have you not read, that he who made them at the beginning made them male and female?” (Matthew 19:4). He said that “from the beginning of creation God made them male and female” (Mark 10:6).

The God who created the world “so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
