LOCK HAVEN — The City of Lock Haven is looking at using Community Development Block Grant funds to help the Life Center house at 330 E. Main St. convert this garage into an emergency shelter. The project would provide four beds, a full bathroom, an intake and supervision office and a rest room for staff. City Council indicated $43,800 could be provided for the project. It was reported Life Center supporters are also approaching the Clinton County Commissioners for money towards staffing costs.
