Crickets Enter Post Season Play

BEECH CREEK – The Senior Legion Beech Creek Crickets, fought a long season, with some very close games, but still managed to come out on top.
The Crickets worked together, and went undefeated during their regular season with a 14-0 record in the Central Penn League.
CPL playoffs started Saturday, July 11 with the Crickets suffering their first loss in the post season hard-fought contest. Ultimately the Crickets, did not rack up enough hits to pull this one out. The game ended in 7 innings with Huntingdon on top 7-6.
The Crickets next playoff game is Today (Sunday, July 12, 2015) at 2 p.m. hosting State College in Beech Creek.
The Senior Legion Crickets have proved themselves through their regular season, and with their undefeated season, also comes a pass to Regionals.
The Crickets will be heading to Regionals in West Moreland Pa, shortly after the CPL playoffs are over.
