LOCK HAVEN – The Clinton County Historical Society is making improvements to the former Jaycee Hall, and has reached out to organizations and businesses in the community for help. The Jaycees still conduct their business, service events such as the free dinners and Regatta from their headquarters in the basement.

The first step is to install new climate control to preserve the collection to be stored there, but also for the future “Community Room.” This room will be available to the public and organizations for meeting space. Recognizing the value to the community, the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 100 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 4298 have each donated $2000 toward the climate controlled systems being installed.

CCHS is very grateful for the support from these organizations.
