Obituary – Patrick R. Carnes
Patrick R. Carnes, 78, of Renovo passed away Monday, April 14, 2025 at his residence.
Born December 4, 1946, in Zanesville, OH a son of the late Charles B. Carnes, Sr. and Naomi R. (Libby) Carnes.
Patrick worked at the casinos while living in Reno in security and bar management. He was a master mechanic in repairing and restoring classic cars.
He enjoyed fishing, coin collecting, panning for gold, metal detecting and spending time with his family.
Surviving are one son, Patrick R. (Carleena) Carnes, II of Gillette, PA and two daughters, Debra C. (Evan) Knerr of TN and Terri (Robby) Probst of North Bend.
Seven Grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
One brother Robert Carnes of Trout Run and a sister Doris (Bob) Kaufman of Elizabethtown.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald, Charles and Michael.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall with Martha Sykes officiating.
A viewing will be held from 10 – 11 am at the funeral chapel.
Burial will be at Edgewood Cemetery, Loyalsock Twp., Montoursville.
