Obituary – Patricia Ann Bittner
Patricia Ann Bittner, 78, of Lock Haven, PA, Passed from this life on April 6, 2025 at the Gatehouse Hospice, Williamsport PA with her daughters by her side.
Patty was born in Lock Haven, PA to Joseph R. Fetterman and Margueritte M. (Shearer) Fetterman on March 7, 1947. She was a 1965 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School.
On July 3, 1968, she married the love of her life Thomas E. Bittner, who preceded her in death on May 15, 2021.
Patty spent most of her life in retail, with the majority of that time being spent at the Smart Shop in Lock Haven. Patty was the sweetest soul, who never met a stranger. Later in her life, she was a full-time caregiver for her husband. Her biggest passion in life was her family.
Patty is survived by two daughters, Nicole M. Bittner, of Mill Hall and Misty A. Stein of Lock Haven; two granddaughters, Morgan S. (Evan) Duck and Claire E Stein; one great grandson Weston D. T. Duck and expecting another great grandchild later this year; one sister Penny M. (Tim) Meyers; one nephew Matthew J. (Chrissy) Wise; her mother in law Kathleen A. Bittner and sister in law Tami A. Little.
Patty was also preceded in death by both her parents, her father-in-law Donald Bittner and her son in law Daniel K.Stein.
Per Patty’s wishes there will be no public memorial services.
