Obituary – Edwina L. “Winnie” Brooks

Edwina L. “Winnie” Brooks, 57, of Renovo died Saturday, March 29, 2025 at UPMC Williamsport Hospital.
Born April 13, 1967 in Lock Haven she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Georgetta (Bowser) Brooks.

Winnie was a 1986 graduate of Bucktail High School. She enjoyed playing video games, camping, fishing and collecting nut crackers.

Surviving are her companion of almost 34 years is George Mayes of Renovo.

The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tues., April 8, 2025, at Maxwell Funeral Home with Martha Sykes presiding. A viewing be held from 1:00 -1:30.

Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Farwell.
