CM Swimming Teams Defeat Mount Carmel – Bair Breaks Record
MOUNT CARMEL-The Central Mountain Swimming teams hit the road Tuesday night and both came away with wins over Mount Carmel.
The Central Mountain girls swim team defeated Mount Carmel 132-27. During the meet, Camryn Bair broke the 500 Free school record with a time of 5:31.78. The Wildcats won all 11 events tonight. Individual winners for the Wildcats were Gabriella Hosley in the 200 Free & 100 Fly, Benelli Reynolds in the 200 IM, Kaylie McCloskey in the 50 Free & 100 Free, Camryn Bair in the 500 Free, Abrianna Hosley in the 100 Back, and Amelia Svederus in the 100 Breaststroke. The girls record improves to 11-1 and they will travel to Williamsport on Tuesday for their final dual meet of the season starting at 4:30.
The Central Mountain boys swim team defeated Mount Carmel 116-47. The Wildcats won all 3 of the relays and many individual events. Individual winners for the Wildcats were Rhys Swift in the 200 IM, Raiden Newcomer in the 50 Free, Brody Rhine in the 100 Fly & 100 Breaststroke, Jonathan Hughes in the 500 Free, and Neil Kaluzny in the 100 Back. The boys record improves to 11-1 and they will travel to Williamsport on Tuesday for their final dual meet of the season starting at 4:30.
