Obituary – Lowell F. Miller

Lowell F. Miller, 91, of Mill Hall, passed away at home on Saturday, January 18, 2025.
Born August 24, 1933 in Clintondale, he was a son of the late Clifford and Mabel Miller.

Lowell was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving in Germany during the Korean Conflict.

On April 17, 1954, he married Sara Jane, who survives at home.

Lowell had a long career at Hammermill Paper Co.

After retiring, he volunteered for the VA, driving Veterans to their appointments and delivering Meals on Wheels.
Lowell’s favorite hobby was collecting and restoring John Deere tractors and driving them in local parades.
He was a member of the Lock Haven Masons.

Lowell will be dearly missed by his wife and children: David of Salona, Leslie of Riviera Beach, FL, Tim (Mary Ellen) of Mill Hall and Stephen (Fred) of Boca Raton, FL; grandchildren, Andy (Abbie) of Miles City, MT and Andrea (Larry) Bechdel of Howard; and great grandchildren, Owen and Eva Miller and Sadie and Olivia Bechdel.
Lowell is also survived by his brother, Gerald and sister, Carol (Lew) Whitesel.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Allan.

Services will be private with interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall.

Arrangements are under the direction of Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
