Tomasi Honored at County Democratic Dinner
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – Toni Tomasi of Mill Hall is this year’s recipient of the Clinton County Democrat of the Year award.
The occasion was the party’s annual dinner, held Thursday at Haywood’s on the Green. County party chairman Joe Waltz presented Mrs. Tomasi the plaque for her years of service to the local Democratic Party. Waltz called her “a tireless worker, a committee person for many years, a coordinator for the party at the Clinton County Fair, a volunteer organizer for the party’s annual picnic” in addition to serving on the county party’s executive committee and as secretary.
County row office candidates and local municipal candidates were among a turnout of 150 people at Haywood’s. Speakers included Democratic candidates for district attorney, Paul Ryan and Dave Strouse, and those for county commissioner, incumbent Joel Long, Paul Conklin, Richard Morris and Vincent Tarantella.
