Obituary – Makaylin Lee Gannon
Makaylin Lee Gannon, 20, formerly of Jersey Shore, passed away Friday, December 20, 2024 in Carpentersville, Illinois.
Born November 22, 2004 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Shannon Cline, who preceded her in death May 8, 2005, and Tina Gannon, who survives in Jersey Shore.
Makaylin obtained her Diploma from the Reach Charter School. After relocating to Carpentersville, Illinois, she worked as an in-home nanny and was beloved by those she served.
She loved gardening and cooking and had a special love for animals. She was a sports enthusiast throughout her youth as both a wrestler and soccer player. Makaylin enjoyed giving gifts and making the gifts look beautiful and special – just as she was and always will be.
In addition to her mom, Tina, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, David and Penny Pressler of Lamar; paternal great-grandmother, Anna Holderman of Bellefonte; maternal grandparents, Joseph E. and Julie Gannon of Jersey Shore; two brothers, Joseph M. Gannon and Evan Snyder, both of Jersey Shore; two aunts, Stacey (Jesse) Rearick of Jersey Shore and Jamie Young of Cogan Station; a niece, Mia Gannon; and six cousins: Sara and Samantha Young, Christopher Dickey, Natausha Bickel and Matthew and Brittany Rearick.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 1 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 11 A.M. until the time of the service.
Private burial will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Clinton County SPCA.
