Santa Brings Holiday Cheer to Renovo at Flaming Foliage Festival Christmas Parade
Bitterly cold winds couldn’t stop Santa from arriving in Renovo as jolly St. Nick headlined the annual Flaming Foliage Festival Christmas parade and tree lighting ceremony as youngsters braved through the elements at the chance to catch some candy and then give Santa their list of toys and other items that they are hoping to see beneath their tree on Christmas morning. Several small floats, the Renovo Police and plenty of firetrucks helped Santa’s trek through town before arriving at the FFF Lot to visit with the kids. Reigning FFF Queen Isabelle Schoonover who represented Canton made her first visit back to town. Five year-old Gregory Kurutz, son of Steve and Cara was visiting his grandparents from his home in Maine and had the chance to speak to Santa and gave him his top choices of presents for the upcoming holiday season.
