cm-baseballMILL HALL — The Central Mountain baseball team Wednesday picked right up where it left off Monday.

Coming off a 10-0 six inning win over Shikellamy two days earlier, Mike Kramer’s Wildcats scored in every inning Wednesday on the way to a 14-4 six inning trouncing of previously undefeated Mifflinburg (2-1).

Central Mountain pounded out 15 hits, including 3-for-3 days from Zach Skrtich and Isaac Porter, the three and four hitters in the Wildcat batting order. Skrtich stole four bases and scored twice while Porter drove in three runs and scored twice.

Talon Falls hit two doubles and drove in a run while Alex Garbrick was 2-for-2 with two doubles, a sacrifice fly and two RBIs. Dylan Kerstetter added a double and Toner Corl, Wyatt Koch, Brandon Miller and Cole Reeder added singles.

Starter Caleb Seyler and Skrtich combined on a 5-hitter, striking out a total of 9 Mifflinburg batters, Seyler picking up his second win in two starts, Skrtich with an inning and a third of hitless relief.

The Wildcats moved to 3-0-1, the only blemish a tie earlier this month against Jersey Shore; that game will be completed later. Next up is a Friday trip to Milton. Next Monday the Wildcats are scheduled for a home game with Selinsgrove.
