LHU Women’s Soccer ties Bloomsburg, 0-0
BLOOMSBURG– The Lock Haven women’s soccer team battled Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division foe Bloomsburg to a 0-0 tie on the road on Wednesday night (Nov. 6).
Neither team could find the back of the net in the 90 minutes and the PSAC East battle ended in a scoreless tie.
The Lock Haven defense stood out as the Huskies led the contest 14-7 in shots.
On the attack, four different Bald Eagles recorded shots on goal. Julia Tavares finished with a team-high two shots.
In net, Lock Haven goalkeeper finished with two saves.
With the decision, the Bald Eagles move to 2-11-4 overall and 2-11-2 in the PSAC East. Bloomsburg is now 9-4-4 overall and 7-4-4 in the conference.
