LHU Women’s Soccer falls 1-0 at No. 16 Shepherd
SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.V. – The Lock Haven women’s soccer team fell to No. 16 Shepherd in a 1-0 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) battle on the road on Saturday (Nov. 2).
Shepherd notched a shutout and scored the lone goal of the match in the 12th minute of the first half to steal the victory.
Haven goalkeeper Megan Miller was outstanding in net and finished with a game-high 12 saves, while holding the Rams to one goal despite constant pressure.
The Bald Eagles held the nationally-ranked Rams to their fewest goals scored in the last three games.
Julia Haines recorded the lone shot on goal for Lock Haven.
With the result, the Bald Eagles move to 2-11-3 overall and 2-11-1 in the PSAC East, while Shepherd improves to 11-1-4 overall and 11-1-2 in the conference.

The Bald Eagles remain on the road and will take the short trip to Bloomsburg on Wednesday (Nov. 6) for a 6 p.m. PSAC East match.
