LHU Women’s Soccer falls to West Chester

WEST CHESTER – The Lock Haven women’s soccer team fell to West Chester 3-0 in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division contest on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 27).

West Chester scored once in the first half before putting the game away with two additional scores in the second half.

In net, Lock Haven goalkeeper Megan Miller made a game-high 11 saves. It is the second time Miller has made double-digit saves this season as she matched her season high.

On the attack, Elizabeth Shultz and Sydney Stahl each recorded a shot on goal for The Haven.

The Bald Eagles move to 2-9-3 overall and 2-9-1 in the PSAC East. West Chester improves to 9-4-1 overall and 8-4-1 in the conference.

NEXT UP

The Bald Eagles return home on Wednesday (Oct. 30) at 5:30 p.m. to host East Stroudsburg at Hubert Jack Stadium. The contest is the program’s West Branch Soccer Club Appreciation Game.
