Clinton County Genealogical Society to Host Award-Winning Author Jeffrey R. Frazier for Presentation on Pennsylvania Folktales and Legends

LOCK HAVEN –  The Clinton County Genealogical Society will host Jeffrey R. Frazier, award-winning author of Pennsylvania mountain folktales, ghost stories, legends and landmarks, on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 7 PM at the Poorman Gallery, 352 E. Water Street, Lock Haven.  

Frazier’s PowerPoint presentation will focus on Pennsylvania Mountain Folktales, landmarks, and the legends associated with them.  The meeting is open to the public and free of charge.

Frazier, born and raised in Centre Hall, Centre County, has been collecting Pennsylvania folktales and legends for more than fifty years. He has written an eight volume series of Pennsylvania Fireside Tales, a three volume series of Pennsylvania Mountain Landmarks, and a volume of Pennsylvania Fireside Ghost Tales.  He received a Literary Titan GOLD book award for his Pennsylvania Fireside Tales Volume two in September 2024.

The Clinton County Genealogical Society (CCGS), founded in 1998, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of our heritage and to helping others research and discover their ancestors and heritage. Membership is open to anyone interested in tracing their family roots.
