Free New Shoes Offered October 19

LOCK HAVEN — Eligible kids and teens may choose a pair of free new shoes at the Lock Haven Shoe Bank on Saturday, Oct. 19th. They may also choose new socks and two books. Everything is free.

The Shoe Bank is inside Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Free new sneakers, and some shoes, are available in all full sizes and many half sizes for babies through high school teens.

Families are eligible if they have the “Compass” app or a print-out and if they live anywhere in Clinton County or the Liberty-Curtin Elementary School attendance area. The Shoe Bank also serves families referred by an agency, church, or civic organization.

To book your time slot, text or call Diahann at 814-571-5324, any weeknight from 7:00-9:00 p.m. She will get back to you when she starts to build the schedule.

Funding is provided by the Clinton County Community Foundation, an M&T Bank Charitable Foundation grant, civic groups, churches, and individual donors.
