Quilts of Valor Ceremony Honors Veterans at Milesburg American Legion
On Sunday, the Milesburg American Legion hosted a heartwarming ‘Quilts of Valor’ ceremony, honoring eight veterans for their service. The Happy Valley Chapter, based in Centre Hall, took part in the special event by presenting each veteran with a handmade quilt, uniquely crafted to ensure no two are alike.
The ceremony was well-attended, drawing over 150 friends and family members. Two television crews were also present to capture the memorable event. After the veterans were wrapped in their quilts of honor, guests enjoyed a buffet-style meal.
